I have unsubscribed from several amazing newsletters such as you have described. It was just too much. It was information overload.

I enjoy reading your posts. It’s nice to hear of normal times that feel like they happened so long ago.

Though I understand and sympathize with your feelings about what to write about, I disagree with what is your bailiwick. Though there may be better researchers, your laser sharp yet poetic 'pen' provides, at least to me, a wonderful service and a sense of comfort and community to the ongoing struggle against the Marxist tyranny they are trying to impose upon us. I am not saying you should write about it, but if you stop it will be missed. Thanks for all you have done, and best wishes.

You should write about what you want to write about - that is all! I love reading about your family, your travels and music and your short stories.

Don't be afraid to shift focus. We are at Stunde Null: every institution we used to believe in has been shown to be utter garbage. Now we must rebuild our lives, and find a new sense of purpose and meaning. The Christians (and other religious, don't think me sectarian) have their project, and maybe they are right. But those of us without religious faith must do the same. And music, prose, and broken hearts are part of that - especially since, in the destruction of our society, all our hearts are broken.

Only those who have understood the madness of the last 3 years have anything of value to contribute to this conversation, because only they understand the world as it is. Your voice is valuable. Let it be heard.

I completely understand your perspective. No one can ever tell another person what to think, how to react. You gotta do you.

I feel that way about COVID. I scan Team Reality websites but really, my eyes glaze over. I know it's all bullshit, I don't have to read it over & over again.

But....some things I can't get over. The US debacle-disengagement from Afghanistan plunged me into inconsolable despair for weeks. Twenty years of looking at the faces of dead Americans, each time I would say to myself, "WHY?". I realized that sticking my head in the sand was bad for ME.

So I'll keep screaming & spitting & yowling on my Substack and my Twitter accounts, when I crank up the energy, no matter how hopeless or futile. And yes, it probably IS futile. But at least I'm aware now.
